Anxiety or we can call it “worry”, it’s a natural thing in our body and mind that functioned as a response to our stress. However, in some cases, anxiety could cause a severe problem in our life. The uneasy feeling that you feel every time that led to overthinking is also an effect from anxiety. Sometimes, people are having difficulty sleeping, because they can’t relax their mind and body.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) characterized by exaggerated anxiety and worry that can interfere with sleep. GAD is a serious concern and it is complicated to determine the cause of GAD. It comes from people’s developmental factors, behavioral, and genetic. GAD has symptoms that include:

Observing Thoughts:

To regain your equilibrium, observing your thoughts is a must thing. This will help you to feel better since this will clear your mind from overwhelming negative thoughts.

  1. Close your eyes and take a deep breath,
  2. Create a picture of yourself lying on the ground watching the clouds,
  3. Observe the clouds’ shape and size, letting them pass by,
  4. Accept the various shape and size without judging the clouds,
  5. Retake a deep breath,
  6. Exhale,
  7. Let your mind wander and observe the thought that comes to you,
  8. Gently note them, whether it is a happy thought or anxious thought,
  9. Don’t start any conversation with your thought or react to your though,
  10. Observe and release your thought, let it pass,
  11. Focus on breathing again and focus on the rhythm of your breath,
